What we collect

We only ask for what an order or a saved list actually needs.

• Account details — your name, email, mobile number and password.
• Delivery details — address, city and any instructions you add at checkout.
• Baby timeline — due date or baby’s age, used only to size kits and checklists correctly.
• Order history — what you bought, so exchanges and reorders are quick.
• Device basics — browser and pages visited, to fix problems and improve the shop.

Why we use it

Every use maps to something you asked for.

• To process, pack and deliver your order and to keep you updated on WhatsApp.
• To keep your kits, checklists and wishlists saved on your account.
• To handle exchanges, returns and refunds under the policies you accepted.
• To send guides and offers — only if you opted in, and one tap unsubscribes.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share the minimum needed with delivery partners (name, address, phone), payment providers (transaction details only — we never see your full card number) and our messaging provider for order updates. Nothing else.

Gift lists and privacy

When you share a gift list, gifters see only the items still needed and the city. Your full address, phone number and order values stay hidden from everyone but you.

Storage and security

Data is stored on encrypted servers, passwords are hashed and never readable by our team, and access is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate from your account page.
• Delete your account and data — order records we must keep for tax are anonymised.
• Turn off marketing messages without affecting order updates.

Baby Ocean is for adults shopping for babies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
